Option one: Teaching at ZISU 

Option two: Teaching in Primary or Secondary Schools 

The teaching internship program is for exchange students from the overseas partner universities of ZISU. Exchange students can teach their mother language or English as a second language at ZISU or in primary/secondary schools in Hangzhou. During their internship, they enjoy the same rights and service as other students at ZISU, and take the same duty.  They will be welcome to join certain number of classes for free as well. 

Participants of the Teaching Internship Program will do teaching internship in ZISU or other schools in Hangzhou for 1 semester (4 months) and teach their mother languages or English as a second language. Participants will be paid with allowance according to their teaching hours and positions. During the internship, ZISU will assign mentors to interns for work instructions and support them other ways. Participants enjoy the same right as other international students. And they will be able to join events or 2 courses on campus during their spare time. Certificate will be offered afterwards. 

Fees:

1.Tuition fee: waived

2. Registration fee: 500 RMB

3. Insurance: 300 RMB ( hotels will reimburse it afterwards)

4. Internship Visa: 400 RMB  ( No need to apply for internship visa if students are doing internship at ZISU, otherwise it’s needed and the school will reimburse it afterwards)

5. Physical Check: 430 RMB  (schools will reimburse it afterwards)

6. Accommodation: 600 RMB/month/person for double room, hot water and electricity are not included.

1. The applicants should be foreign citizens who are over 18 years old and studying in partner universities

2. The applicants should be majoring in Pedagogy or related fields.

3. The applicants should be in good health condition.

4. The applicants should have no criminal record, will obey all laws, regulations, culture and traditions in China. 

5. Applicants who can speak Chinese or English fluently as an inter-language are preferred. 

 Through the cooperation between ZISU, foreign partner universities and schools in Hangzhou, we offer internship positions in ZISU or other schools and instructions to international exchange students. The interns will be cultivated into applied talents who have both working experience and knowledge regarding to Pedagogy, students will obtain a deeper understanding of the education system, education situations, culture and language of China.
