The length of schooling in Tourism Management major is four years. All courses are taught in English. The eligible will be awarded bachelor's degree in economics or management.

The academic year is divided into two semesters, an autumn semester and a spring semester. The autumn semester starts from September and ends in mid January. The spring semester starts in early or mid February and finishes in end of June. In each academic year there are two long vacations: the summer one lasts for two month from July to August, and the winter one, in which China’s Spring Festival falls, usually lasts for 4 weeks.

All foreign students have a chance to apply to a paid internship.

1 For the undergraduate degree program, applicants must be 18 years old or above and non-Chinese citizens with holding a high school qualification.
2 Applicants must be in good health, holding valid passport and willing to abide by the university’s rules and regulations and China’s law, and should respect Chinese culture and customs.
3 Bachelor Programs in English: 1) English is the native language/official language, or 2) IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 90.

This major aims to cultivate high quality applied talents with good ability of intercultural communication , be master of necessary professional knowledge, professional skills and application ability, familiar with international tourism operation rules, with strong innovation spirit and innovation ability, capable of tourism product planning, travel business management, tourism marketing, tourism planning and tour guide work under the background of globalization.
