Chinese language and Literature
The target group of this major is international students or overseas Chinese whose native language is not Chinese. It aims to cultivate them into highly skilled international Chinese talents who meet the demands of modern international society, with a good command of Chinese, an understanding of Chinese traditional culture and contemporary social customs, a familiarity with China's national conditions, and the basic skills required for international Chinese education, business trade, and cultural exchange work. The major is designed with Chinese as the main subject and the professional direction as the minor. This major offers three directions: Chinese Language and Culture, Business Chinese, and International Chinese Education.
Students of this major mainly study the basic knowledge and fundamental theories of Chinese language and Chinese culture. They receive good training in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating in Chinese. Depending on the different training directions, they are expected to have the professional ability to engage in Chinese teaching, business activities, cultural exchange, translation, etc., and possess high comprehensive quality to adapt to various social professions.
Main course:Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, Taichi, Traditional Chinese Talents, General Introduction of Zhejiang Local Culture, Practice of ‘Silk, Tea, and China’ Culture, International Business Negotiation.
Business Chinese
(Business Environment in China)
In order to meet the demand of people from other countries and regions to invest and develop in China, this major aims to cultivate international application-oriented talents with international vision, understanding of contemporary economic and trade development, familiarity with China’s business environment, mastery of theories, knowledge and skills in international economy and trade, practical ability to run international business, and cross-cultural communication competence. They are supposed to be able to use Chinese to operate international business in China.
Main course:Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, Taichi, Comprehensive Business Chinese (1)(2), Business Presentation, Business Chinese-Chinese Translation, International Finance, Chinese Business Law, Introduction of the countries of the “Belt and Road” etc.

International Economy and Trade
For meeting the demand of social and economic development of Zhejiang and Yangtze River Delta, the major is aiming to cultivate the international and application-oriented talents with systematically mastering the basic knowledge, theories, and methods of international economics and trade, a good knowledge of international trading rules, internet mindset, sophisticated understanding of Chinese and English, and the ability to make a career in multinational enterprises, trade promotion organizations, government business administration departments and other enterprises and institutions.

Cross Border E-commerce
For meeting the demand of social and economic development of countries and regions along “One Belt One road”, our cross-border e-commerce major is aiming to cultivate the international and application-oriented talents with systematically mastering the basic theories and methods of cross-border e-commerce, a good knowledge of international rules and national conditions, internet mindset, sophisticated understanding of Chinese and English, and the ability of operating cross-border e-commerce platform, customer services management and cross-border network marketing.
Main courses: Management, Introduction to Cross-Border E-Commerce (in English), E-Commerce Laws and Regulations, Internet Marketing), Electronic Defray, Cross-Border Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Cross-Border E-Commerce Visual Marketing and Art Design, Independent Station Operation and Management, Operations of B2C Multi-Platform Cross-Border E-Commerce.
International Business
The specialized services of this program are geared towards meeting the economic development demands of the Zhejiang and Yangtze River Delta regions. We aim to cultivate individuals who embody and practice the core socialist values, possess a sense of social responsibility and teamwork, demonstrate innovative thinking and an Internet mindset. Graduates will have a solid foundation in international business theory, capabilities in transnational business operations, and entrepreneurial skills. They are equipped to adapt to the trends of economic globalization and the development of cross-border e-commerce. Our program aligns with the "Belt and Road" initiative as well as China's strategy for enterprises to expand globally. Graduates are well-prepared to engage in foreign economic management in government departments, work in multinational business operations, cross-border e-commerce, and pursue independent ventures in the internationalized application field of online entrepreneurship.

Tourism Management
The Tourism Management degree program aims to cultivate international students to be interdisciplinary, application-oriented and international cultural tourism professionals, They should be capable of working in foreign-related cultural tourism business units and related economic management sectors. The program also focuses on developing international students’ competence in the Chinese language, contemporary Chinese politics, economy, culture and society. Graduates will be familiar with the basic rules of the international cultural tourism industry and understand international cultural tourism enterprise operation, international cultural tourism project planning and management, as well as cross-cultural communication and marketing.
Program Features: The program is based on the teaching mode of “classroom theory teaching + practical base teaching + experimental platform teaching”. By actively taking advantage of the National First-class Major, and utilizing multiple platforms and channels to enrich the teaching contents, it aims to enhance the students’ comprehensive ability of learning and practice.
